Columbia Pictures' Batman is just about as good as the next serial, which spells plenty of two-fisted fun. Go to Full Review

Dennis N @RT07012830 2d I loved this whole serial, as a fan of the 1966 Series growing up, I just watched this serial from start to finish - while some complain about the racist "jap" references, this was right after Pearl Harbor had happened, and America was very afraid of Japanese terrorist. Both the actors playing Batman and Robin did a great job, as well as the "Linda Page" love interest, and all of the supporting cast. I thought sets were very good, and overall it held my attention well. Definitely worth watching - See more Harrison C @QwopEX Jun 28 Interesting plot, but is pretty racist and has repetitive action See more Intellectual G. @Intellectual Feb 19 6 7 reference in first chapter carries this series. The villian was trying to be just a ripoff Joker.. See more Lincoln K @RT85628835 05/17/2020 This is the 1943 Columbia Pictures serial .. the first depiction of Batman and Robin on the big screen. Contains racist slurs against the Japanese villains in the piece... which is perhaps to be expected as a film made during WW II... and Batman looks very out of shape... there are also some funny bits like Batman losing his cape during one round of fighting.... but despite all that it has its charm.. the cliffhangers are fun and you can see how this serial inspired the 60s tv show.. Entertaining enough that it kept my attention throughout... those fights though... pretty bad See more Read all reviews
