Sniper expresses a cool competence that is a pleasure to watch. It isn't a particularly original film, but what it does, it does well.

Slow & under-plotted for what this should have been. Billy Zane is a little too afraid of diving back into "Dead Calm"-ish headcase territory. But there's some beautiful location photography & it's clear Tom Berenger has studied actual snipers' behaviors.

It's difficult to see waves of gung-ho action nuts racing to see this saga of an old hand and a young hotshot tramping though miles of tropical greenery.

A solid action movie with an interesting performance by Tom Berenger as a gruff and tough loner.

Nothing really seemed to stand out or be special about this film. Just an average war movie

Prejudiced because I love the Sniper movies with Tom Berenger. Good story, well written. Good cinematography and visually very good. Whole cast convinces in character. Lots of action, drama, dilemma, intrigue and emotion. Memorable
