Beckett is a pampered and selfish cat who totally takes for granted the lucky hand he has been dealt. All that is about to change, however, when he carelessly loses his ninth life. With no lives left and faced with the inevitable, Beckett pleads for things to be back to how they were. At first his request is refused but in a moment of exceptional empathy, the 'Gatekeeper' has a change of heart and allows him to return to earth with a whole new set of lives. What he doesn't realize immediately however is that each of these new lives will see him return in a variety of different forms... each one teaching him a valuable & timely lesson. It is a journey that sees Beckett turn from gloriously self-absorbed pet to a self-sacrificing hero; because sometimes you must travel many different roads to find the very best version of yourself.

This sweetly-charming children’s animation from the UK goes back to basics in style and content, grooming a smart idea into a purring success.

B-

Even if some script and visual elements would surely have been smoothed over by a more conventional development process, the flaws add a human touch that makes the film strangely endearing.

While the feline protagonist keeps cheating death, his human companions in this British animated comedy are barely brought to life.

While you may call the animation itself retro style the story itself is heart-felt and may have even made this film reviewer tear up.

Likeable, if unexceptional, British/French animated feature... A passable film for kids that will lose nothing in the stream.

Basic jokes, one-note characters, decent animation; the kind of material you’d expect to show up out of nowhere on streaming.

10 Lives is animated movie, fun and heartwarming that shares a story about Beckett, a spoiled cat who gets a second chance after losing his ninth life. As he experiences life as different animals, he learned lessons about love, kindness, and appreciating the people who care about him. It reminds how important second chances, forgiveness, and kindness. I'd highly recommend it for a family movie night.

I recently came across 10 lives, while scrolling through Angel Studio animations movies, and I just loved it all, the humour, comedy made, and even awkward moments which were in the movie. I also liked the fact that there were lots of lessons that anybody can connect with real life events. I'll give a 4-star rating, and I hope y'all enjoy it as well.

I gave it three stars because I loved Zayn Malik’s music. The rest of it was kinda ho-hum.

Even though I am an adult I do enjoy a good animation now and then. This unfortunately is not a good animation. The designs are decent but the story is poor and the people who worked on it obviously haven't spend a day with a cat. It is really truly bad. Super boring. Super silly. Zero character development. It's basically for kids only and when I say kids I mean up to 5 year olds that can enjoy it for the colours. The voices are bad too. The cats voice is super annoying. I'm surprised anyone over five enjoyed it. Save all your ten lives and skip this. Maybe 2.5 out of 5 is too much for this.

Although it's not on the same level as the most known animated movies, there's still enough fun to be had. Although a bit repetitive.
