Air Shift is a fun combination of two different horror styles that works far more often than it does not. The cast is good and makes the most of what they have to work with. Go to Full Review

"Air Shift" is a love letter to independent radio stations and idiosyncratic disc jockeys, with the genre mixing being the engine propelling the story forward. Go to Full Review

A lame attempt at a horror-comedy, Air Shift is just plain awful. Go to Full Review

Daniel C @Cayarga 5h A scrappy, high-energy indie that proves big fun can come from small budgets. This zombie bottle thriller takes place over one chaotic night inside a struggling radio station, where a late-night DJ suddenly finds herself trapped between a serial killer and a growing zombie outbreak. The film begins with a strong sense of tension, carefully building suspense before gradually loosening its grip and leaning into increasingly wild and unpredictable territory. As more characters enter the story, the tone shifts from suspenseful to gleefully chaotic, balancing humor, horror, and absurdity in an entertaining way. The cast is charming and fully committed to the premise, helping the film maintain momentum even as the situation spirals into madness. You’ll laugh, cringe, and root for the characters all at once. Even if the destination feels familiar, the journey there is what makes this a genuinely fun "sit back and enjoy the ride" movie. The film stands out thanks to its memorable performances, an engaging and well-paced story and a top-notch soundtrack that elevates every scene. It’s an excellent choice for a family movie afternoon, a chance to enjoy a great time together, filled with a few scares, plenty of laughs and some unexpected surprises along the way. I, however, appreciated the blend of sensibilities that supercedes this notion. The quest of an FM deejay to overcome a serial killer and a zombie outbreak AT THE SAME TIME was fun and original. I think this is more of a neo-horror movie than a straight thriller, and I'm glad the filmmakers took this route. Some great indie bands featured throughout. Is FM radio dead? See more Robin E @Robin74 Dec 30 Will you be able to survive the night in this radio station, accompanied by a psychopathic serial killer and an egocentric singer as the zombies attack the building from the outside? This movie is crazy, this movie is super cool! The lead actress Ashlee Paige makes sparks, and the rest of the cast is very good too. The soundtrack of the 90s rock style is great. This movie is to be watched with guilty pleasure, forget all the rules: Chris Maes has none. See more Elizabeth P @Elizziepassa Dec 18 This one’s worth a watch. Air Shift mixes horror, true crime, and humor, and for the most part it works. The lead deejay character is engaging, especially as the night wears on and her sanity starts to unravel. The jazz singer/college dropout character subplot adds an unexpected twist. It’s more playful than scary, poking fun at horror tropes rather than aiming for outright terror. Some good zombie gore.
