Gareth V @geewah 7 hrs ago A curious, flawed and sometimes charming film that’s carried almost entirely by its star, but it’s slow, unfocused and indulgent, See more Bill T @btreakle Jul 6, 2026 “Assassination Tango” This Robert Duvall movie was a different kind of film for me it’s a Robert Duvall fan. Some of it was set in Mexico I believe and some of it was set in Argentina. It’s a film about double identity a man with two faces. And as usual Robert Duvall does a terrific job portrayed this character who lives a double life very good. Now this film Robert Duvall has a ponytail of all things he is a little younger in this filmBut he is athletic enough to do the tangle. I highly recommend this film so sit back and enjoy. See more Frans B @FransB Feb 13, 2026 Not bad but very confusing, vague, odd and not convincing at times. Expected much more from Robert Duvall. Luciana Pedraza absolutely shines in character, she seems like the whole pillar around which the movie was built on. Good twist in the end but not much action, drama or suspense on the journey there. A bit disappointing See more thiago s @Thiagostone Jul 26, 2025 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more steve d @RT35616104 Jun 30, 2020 Just becuse your movie is odd does not mean it is good. See more Jun 30, 2015 Following the brilliant performance/phenomenal writing/surehanded direction of Robert Duvall in "The Apostle," he assumes the role of writer and director of his own star vehicle once again. Unfortunately, this film doesn't come close to the greatness of "The Apostle." Not to say I'm directly comparing the two films, as they're polar opposites in terms of plot: "The Apostle" is the story of a man determined to do God's work no matter what, "Tango" is about a hitman who loves the tango. The only thing in common is that both men in both movies have an obsession. Unfortunately, Duvall's writing and directing in THIS film is haphazard: the cast consistently looks like they're struggling to find something to say. It looks awkward. Overall, not the best followup to a masterpiece. See more Read all reviews
