Spoiled kids are placed in Saturday detention at the prestigious Crestview Academy. After one of the kids locks away the teacher, the kids find themselves trapped in school with no way out, wondering who (or what) set them up. In the end, Bad Kids of Crestview Academy squanders its mystery on telling a joke it has told several times already, and all tension leaves the film, making it hard to care for the remaining survivors.

Bad Kids of Crestview Academy is certainly a film aware of how inherently daft it is, but it's nowhere near good enough to praise, nor does it reach the levels of endearingly bad in the way a legion of cult movies have remained popular.

Honestly, this wasn't what I was expecting. It was better than I had first anticipated, and was quite entertaining in it's own way... the young kids in the film definitely made some of the scenes memorable. But basically I gave it a glance because Ben Browder was involved with this project.

This movie's like what (?!) did I just watch? It certainly won't be remembered but strange enough to keep watching it all the way through. Too incoherent, the characters are terrible, the story is terrible, but the dialog is somewhat interesting if for no other reason than how bizarre this is. Of course it's a teen gore horror movie where the protagonist teenage girl is trying to figure out how her sister died at a high school party, so they get locked in a cursed high school and go walking around, dying and stuff and then it just gets absolutely bizarre. Worth watching if you like bizarre teen horror.

Maybe with a better Director and script bad kids could’ve been something fun but as it is it’s a small budget B-movie all the way. The acting is pretty bad, the special effects or horrible, the story is ridiculous, and worst of all the movies just isn’t much fun. The kills are over-the-top. May be fans of the graphic novel will like it but non fans won’t find much here to enjoy.
