In the late '60s, the self-proclaimed belles of the rock 'n' roll ball (Goldie Hawn), (Susan Sarandon) rocked the worlds of every music legend whose pants they could take off -- and they have the pictures to prove it. But it's been more than two decades since the Banger Sisters earned their nickname -- or even laid eyes on each other. The sentimental bits feel contrived and leave a saccharine-sweet aftertaste, which somehow seems to works against the spirit of the story. On top of all, the one thing I was really disappointed in was the uninspired soundtrack. See more 12/10/2014 Hawn and Sarandon are pretty good as the best friends, but the "seen it before script" and the pedestrian direction kind of drag it down.
