Being Elmo succeeds precisely because of this lack of cynicism. It is heartfelt, touching, and completely in keeping with the spirit of Henson’s fuzzy-felt creations.

Whilst there is bound to be a heavy dose of nostalgia factor attached to any film that deals with childhood characters, there's enough back-story here to suggest that most will be engaged by Being Elmo.

Maybe if I had viewed this before 2012, I would have liked "Being Elmo" a little more. But even then, I would have had to lean toward your average Slant magazine review that uses a lot of words to say "it was not good."

I thought this was an interesting look inside the world of puppeteer's with Jim Henson & Seasame street and the younger generation behind them who are interested in this line of work

A very endearing and inspiring film. Though there are rumors and allegations that were not discussed in the film surrounding Kevin, his love for the craft and making others happy made for a whimsical, wholesome viewing experience.

There's a man behind Elmo and it's Kevin Clash. The movie is fine and if you make it about Elmo and the impact that character has had over so many lives it's worth watching. Hubby loved it, wife has had enough Elmo after all these years! Hubby: 9.5/Wife: 7.9 Average: 8.7/10
