Bunny is a streetwise hustler working a quick job when everything goes sideways fast. Thrown into a fight for his life, he turns to his best friend Dino for help. What follows is one wild, sweltering summer day and night in their East Village tenement, as the two scheme with a crew of eccentric neighbors to cover up a dead body. With the NYPD circling, chaos reigns as the clock ticks and the heat rises. Bunny's only goal is simple: survive the night without getting caught or killed.

Sweats to hit the 90-minute mark, and it all builds to a happy ending that is not in the least bit plausible, but as a directorial calling card, Bunny makes for an entertainingly good time with good company.

For a film that begins with urgency, it quickly devolves into a series of characters popping in and out, which makes it more like a running gag than a running storyline. Knock-knock jokes have more zip and panache than any line in Bunny.

Amazing "first effort". All of the characters are believable and create a picture of 'low rent' life in Manhattan. I was thoroughly entertained and would watch the tow male leads to any work together.

Wanted to dig it but I didn’t. Amateurish, improved dialogue people talking over each other, sound issues, over color corrected, lack of score and unlikable one dimensional characters. Not sure how this film made it to Netflix to be honest. There are more deserving indie comedies I’ve seen.
