Allen's forced approach to Judd Pillot and John Peaslee's Screenwriting 101-style script has merely left everyone floating on their own.

Winds up as a fairly inspirational comedy, without being truly memorable.

Really not great but nonetheless very old school comedy, awkward humor and some very predictable "twists" . But Tim Allen does have a place on my list and that deserves more than an 8% score. This movie called for dramatic acting, Tim Allen's one strength is reaction comedy. But Weaver was terrific as was the rest of the cast. Simple, corny, illogical but I enjoyed it.

Tim Allen at his best in this Romantic movie of a guy getting out of jail determined to stay straight. Romance with the struggles of going straight. The budding romance is what makes this movie work.
