Damaged isn’t trying to be a meme, it’s playing things completely straight... That sincerity, and the apparent genuine commitment of top-tier performers like Jackson, is what makes this ripely absurd film at least half-worth watching.

Some truly awful acting....maybe Samuel & Vincent Cassel actually just wanted a working holiday in Scotland with a bit of golf to take part in this. It is like it was written with Chat GPT and automated actors using AI.

Unfortunately, I watched it all. Plot has more holes than Liza's bucket. I kept wondering if I'd dozed off and missed something important because nothing was making sense. At first I wondered if it was my poor menopausal brain glitching, but no, it really is just a pile of s***. I hope you read this review before watching it and I save you some time. Use the time to plant a tree, have a shower or even just watch some jelly wobbling because truly anything is better than watching this awful movie. (From someone who will, in future, read reviews BEFORE watching the movie) 🍿
