Dark crimes is a bleak and suspenseful crime thriller that keeps a serious tone throughout. Jim Carrey delivers a performance that is quite different from what many viewers may be used to seeing from him. Even though the film takes its time to develop, its dark atmosphere and engaging mystery make it a solid choice for fans of psychological crime stories.

Aqui, ele abandona completamente a comédia e interpreta um detetive obcecado por um caso brutal, com atuação seca, introspectiva e quase sem expressão.
