Frank 10/26/2022 Ingenius throughout. See more Jacob B @JB3.0 1d Strange to think that once Bond 26 comes out, this will no longer be 007's only 21st-century film to NOT star Daniel Craig. That being said, Die Another Day REEKS of early 2000's. No better way to establish James Bond making it to the new millennium than by having a CGI bullet whizz by in the gunbarrel intro. Not to mention the Madonna song. Music is catchy but lyrically lacking and out-of-place with this franchise (you know your IP really needs a do-over when the PARODY film has a better Madonna song). Shame really, because the film does get off to a strong start with a then-shocking expectation subversion, good in-camera action sequences and clearly-trying actors. Too bad things derail once an invisible car shows up. Now we have literal race lifts, the villain with a glorified Power Glove, crappy CGI surfing and a bad Madonna cameo. Some "so bad, it's good" enjoyment to be found here but overall, not the best way to celebrate 40 years. Guess 007 and diamonds are a poor match. Il tutto condito da sequenze di azione altrettanto pessime e da dialoghi squallidi; veramente nulla da salvare. I can understand that it’s a bit corny and the CGI wasn’t great back then, but this is engaging the entire time. I can only imagine how great it must have been in theaters See more Alec B @Alec97 Feb 9 All over the place (Bond gets tortured for over a year AND there's a space laser harnessing the sun's power called Icarus, M tosses Bond out as a liability AND "An ice palace can be such a treacherous place.") without any sense of balance.
