In this live-action film based on the favorite children's tale, the trouble-making Cat in the Hat (Mike Myers) arrives at the home of bored young Sally Walden (Dakota Fanning) and her brother, Conrad (Spencer Breslin), while their mother (Kelly Preston) is out. The family's pet fish (Sean Hayes) objects to the Cat's presence, but that doesn't stop the hat-wearing giant feline from trying to have fun, no matter how much destruction is left in his wake.

Hat Apr 21, 2023 absolutely insane, but too long See more Mario Galaxy Movie is good I @MarioGalaxyMovieIsgood Sep 29, 2026 I actually kind of like it??? Some jokes fell flat for sure though See more Gustavojr C @RT30876198 Sep 29, 2026 Honestly this movie was actually pretty good, even though there are some things that aren’t Dr. Seuss’ style, but it’s still pretty darn good and Mike Myers’ acting was really good. See more MISHAPS T @RT48344533 Sep 21, 2026 what truly makes this movie is Mike Myers being forced to do this to begin with. See more Aaron C @griddster Sep 14, 2026 Incredible movie. It is very goofy, but that is why its a fantasy kids movie, and it fits the Dr. Suess cat in the hat way of doing things. Its a very fun movie.
