Sagan C @RT46970597 Apr 9 Imagine I told you I was going to make a movie about Eating Spaghetti, but then when you watched the film, all you saw was someone milling flour for 89 painful minutes while the eggs rolled off the counter and smashed on the floor. That's what Dragonball: Evolution was. 89 minutes of mind-deadening nothingness that didn't even manage to summon a moment's anticipation beyond the title itself. The directors had clearly never seen nor heard of Dragonball before deciding to make the film. They just used the name to make money, knowing full well they were going to crap all over one of the longest-running and most successful anime franchises in the world. Almost walked out of the theater in the first 10 minutes from how bad the story was going. Stuck around to see how bad it could actually get.... Comparing this to Dragon Ball Z, this movie is a straight up disgrace of being a Dragon Ball fan or a Anime fan. This movie has a lot of horrible CGI and practical effects and it just looks stupid. The action was horrible. Justin Chadwin deserves a Razzie award. But, overall, I give this horrible film a 0/10 or 1.0/5 stars.
