An unfinished film is passed from one friend to another. The dialogue between them takes the form of a journey traversed by the hatching of the Great Eastern Brood X (a brood of periodical cicadas prophetically emerging every 17 years in the United States), invoking both the reflection of a post-pandemic present and our shared future.
