christopher b May 10, 2026 Ben McKenzie seems like a sincere guy, but he doesn’t understand crypto. There’s a moment in the film in which Susan Lummis distinguishes fraud from crypto, which this film doesn’t do. This film will age like milk. See more Mary N @RT89052270 Sep 27, 2026 I enjoyed watching Ben Mackenzie try and find out what crypto really is in this quirky film. However, after a fun ride, and watching a shocking number of crypto currencies fail and their investors get nothing, just like Ben I see that there is nothing there. All crypto schemes are simply frauds that run until the bubble bursts. Part of the film shows how crypto has made so much money for those who own the schmes that it can buy influence and lack of regulation See more Kyle H @RT49324537 Sep 20, 2026 If you want to watch a movie about someone who is just entering the crypto space and is confused by everything, like their first day on a trading app, this is your movie. Follow Jason Gordon Levitt prove to himself that his bias that everything is a scam is true while actually just acting like an extremely safe investor who doesn't understand what is happening around him and quite obviously ignoring statistics like the long term price action. The reporting is incredibly biased by failing to look at the look term price analysis, and instead, focuses on short term price action and fails to actually talk to anyone who is an actual knowledge leaders in the space. Additionally, it ignores any successful cases and focuses on people who left or failed. Instead of sharing example of success in the space it tends towards the side of speculation. This movie was insufficient for capturing everything going on in the vast and growing industry that is crypto. See more Terry R @Trouss Sep 8, 2026 This movie shows the truth about crypto. Crypto is nothing more than a ponzi scheme for rich people to use to steal money from the middle class with no repercutions. This movie needed to be made so everyone can see the truth. Ben is 1000% right!!!! This movie is a must see and will save you money if you were thinking about investing. See more Ian F @thismeansguerra Sep 8, 2026 Good information useful for a lot of people to get an understanding of what cryptocurrency is very cautionary and is explaining of what’s going on is a little bit redundant at times but mostly fun See more Belle-Aurore L @TheMalteseFalcon Sep 6, 2026 It is thoroughly enjoyable, and applaud the independent methods he went to in order to release it. I felt like he took some risks, and got some solid interviews, but that some of it felt a bit light on analysis. I would have liked to see more technical details, versus just the heartbreak following the breakdowns or shortcomings in crypto. There were unanswered questions, and I feel like he could have got there, but when you’re producing something yourself funding can be a barrier. Overall, my household enjoyed it, and felt the experience was cool, even if just supporting self made filmmakers, who used to be beloved actors. See more Read all reviews
