Probst has crafted a nifty little story for his film debut, and I'm actually looking forward to see what he'll do next. Who knew?

Now this isn't something for action fans, but those who want a more quiet film while still having to actively think along. The setting is pretty realistic and the characters interesting enough, but the plot is what really matters in this movie. It is very simple and therefore I don't recommend a second viewing, but the dilemma and tension slowly building is made fun to watch, along with a nice, somewhat unexpected twist. Still a fun watch, as a simple plot and setting isn't always bad if it's utilized well.

Crossed paths with this movie while looking for something "included with Prime" and, well, I saw some playing cards and am a sucker for anything "gambling" ... it kept my attention and would recommend to friends.

An underrated gem. I first saw this in 2006 or so and was captivated. I waited years to find it again and I'm glad it still holds up. A compelling story, good acting by Ryan Reynolds and James Earl Jones, and a dope ending.

For having surely the most predictable 'twist' I've seen in a film, this loses marks. Tension is built up well and the plot is ok but it would work better on stage than on film.
