Nat the fly loves listening to his grandfather (Christopher Lloyd) tell stories of adventures from his youth. Desperate to experience some derring-do of his own, Nat convinces two of his friends to stow away on Apollo 11. The result is only just worth 90 minutes of anybody's time, and has Buzz Aldrin appearing at the end to assure everyone that none of it was remotely possible. Surprise, surprise!

Best suited for younger children, "Fly Me to the Moon" will give little ones an appealing, eye-catching first look at 3-D movies, provided they can be persuaded to keep their goggles on.

Such a good movie! Lots of laughter throughout the movie. The cinatography was impeccable and loved all the characters. I definitely would watch it again.

Everyone knows that houseflies didn't go to the moon, considering these are anthropomorphic flies that had space suits for crying out loud. But for some strange reason the movie decided to have a live action Buzz Aldrin show up saying it never happened. It has early 2000s cheaper animation style and minor character issues. This is a kid's movie made for kids, how does it make it bad? Sure there's nothing for adults that aren't kids at heart and there is nothing close to real fly facts or historical facts but it is funny, the cast does great and well written. Overall, a flawed but fun kid's flick.
