Shot over the span of two nights in the summer of 2005 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., this Jonathan Demme concert film combines interviews with Neil Young and other band members with the premiere of various songs from the album "Prairie Wind." The concert film also features a special acoustic encore of older Young songs, as a special favor to Demme for the purposes of the film. Songs performed include "Far from Home," "Heart of Gold," "Harvest Moon," and "Comes a Time."

To watch the legend that Neil Young is, along with so many great musicians, performing in such an iconic venue is really an experience that is very hard to find.

If not for rust never sleeps, this would be my favorite concert of his. Beautifully shot and staged, this is Neil proving that he can do the "down home" sound along with the best. It improved the prairie wind album, which I didn't really care about before hand; as well as the deep cuts and classics that the 2nd set excellently purveyed. A must watch for even casual Neil fans.

Neil Young's music and persona may be an acquired taste; but well worth the effort. This is the mellow Neil Young; not the Rockin' in the USA version. His music and band maintain their affectionate quality like worn leather. Jonathan Demme has a gift for capturing the musicians, the flavor, and the aura. Enjoy it!
