Critics Consensus

Hitman features the unfortunate combination of excessive violence, incoherent plot, and inane dialogue.

The title is probably misspelt -- there should be an S in front.

As far as it being a video game, I was in the theater and I was trying to work the remote control to close the curtains and turn the sound down.

The creators have gone to great lengths to showcase the blood, bullets, and babes requisite for a proper translation of the popular assassin adventure.

Fans of video-game inspired action flicks are likely to find enough moments of action, gore and gunfighting to make the whole thing worth watching once it hits home video.

A movie that is based on a video game that isn't good? The actors try their best and while its not horrible their is hardly anything of substance worth remembering.

Quite enjoyed it. Timothy Olyphant, Dougray Scott and Olga Kurylenko convincing in character. Well written, dialogue in line with the game it is based on. Good cinematography. Lots of action, violence, emotion, intrigue, drama, some melodrama, suspense and grit. The review ratings on RT not in line with other platforms, which rates it higher. Entertaining and captivating

Whose brilliant idea was it to waste the talent and charm of Timothy Olyphant in this crappy film? It plays to none of Olyphant's strengths and puts him in the role of a robotic psychopathic killer. Just dumb. Like the so-called plot of this movie.
