The shifting interrogations keep you engaged without feeling repetitive, and the performances are uniformly strong. Marcus Henderson brings real emotional depth along with flashes of sharp, unexpected humor. Hope Lauren gives a powerful, unsentimental performance as an ER doctor who happens to use a wheelchair. Henri Esteve delivers a layered and nuanced performance, and Paul McCrane adds a steady, world-weary presence as the interrogator.
