Jeepers Creepers: Reborn is neither as skilful nor scary as the 2001 original. It’s a cheap knockoff, inferior in every way.

Neither slicing under the genre’s surface, nor dicing the heritage well, this reboot is more an unseemly act of IP cannibalism.

A story without heads or tails that contains satanic cults, a cast who dies before we can even learn their name, and a house that works as an escape room. [Full review in Spanish]

The film is bad because it can't simply patch up all its holes. There are scenes that stretch senselessly... Some deaths cause smiles instead of fear, the special effects are flat, and the story doesn't hold up. [Full review in Spanish]
