It didn't blow my socks off, but it was an enjoyable, if predictable watch. Highlighting the difference between the cultures would have improved it. The relationship also moved very quickly for me, but it is a decent movie to watch when you have time.

Good movie. Jackman is charming and plays the character very well, Meg Ryan is also good. Despite having some plot holes, the dynamic of the film is very enjoyable and it has a nice romantic story to tell. It reminded me to be chivalrous. Cheers.

I loved this movie so much! I don't really watch romance so this was very palatable to someone like me, the jokes were really great and I was laughing the whole movie, I liked the 1800s set design and outfits; the mixture of modern and old style clothes that Leopard would wear in the modern time looked really nice and it was a nice touch! Hugh Jackman and Meg Ryan are both complete eye candy in this movie (though I wish they gave Meg a better hairstyle, just the times I guess...) Over all this movie was really funny and the romance was sickly sweet, such a great watch! :D
