When teenagers Mike (Grant Cramer) and Debbie (Suzanne Snyder) see a comet crash outside their sleepy small town, they investigate and discover a pack of murderous aliens who look very much like circus clowns. They try to warn the local authorities, but everyone assumes their story is a prank. Meanwhile, the clowns set about harvesting and eating as many people as they can. It's not until they kidnap Debbie that Mike decides it's up to him to stop the clowns' bloody rampage.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space has long been one of my favorite horror movies. It’s low budget and very over the top, but I find it charming and entertaining to watch clowns wrap people in cotton candy cocoons that burn their flesh off.

A sequel should've been made a long time ago. This movie 100% stands the test of time, if you take it for what it is. A low budget horror comedy, leaning heavily on the comedy and the whole over the top concept. Hurry, hurry, hurry!

I watched Killer Klowns from Outer Space as a 9-year-old girl and it completely traumatized me, but my mom somehow missed the terror and decided to "surprise" me by redecorating my entire bedroom in a full clown theme...complete with a gigantic clown face mural on my wall that literally stared into my soul every single night. Between that horrifying wall looming over my bed and the movie scene where those freaks use crazy straws to drink liquified humans out of cotton candy cocoons, my childhood was officially ruined, and to this day I have an absolute, paralyzing fear of both clowns and straws.
