Tushar G Jan 7, 2026 what a perfect movie See more Lucia Jan 5, 2026 Anyone who appreciates the storytelling style of Paolo Sorrentino and his collaborative process with Toni Servillo will want to see this film — another fresh take on self reflection, lifes meaning, the importance of whats true or not true, and the impact of the choices we make. I was captivated for the entire 2 hrs and 11 minutes. See more Rodney O @Rodka Aug 3, 2026 A perfect visual blend of morality, mortality, love, life, power and so much more. Many images will live with me forever. Style and substance and cinematography to weep over. See more Stefano L @RT44239390 May 13, 2026 Paolo Sorrentino remains a master, but La Grazia relies too much on obvious symbolism. The President (reminiscent of Mattarella) faces a moral crisis over euthanasia, while his daughter pushes for progress. Subplots involving prisoners add gravity, yet the "Reggae Pope" on a TMax feels like a forced surrealist trope. Iconic scenes, like the President rapping Guè Pequeno, feel more calculated than spontaneous. However, technical execution remains impeccable: the photography, dialogue pacing, and soundtrack are world-class. Yet, the script lacks the bite of The Great Beauty. The aesthetic is flawless, but the narrative structure is thin. Sorrentino is still Italy’s premier auteur, but here the writing is too predictable. Rating: 2.5/5. I won’t reveal anything else because you need to see the film for yourself; it remains a recommended watch for its sheer cinematic quality See more Read all reviews
