The songs (including a saucy ode to Justin Timberlake) are fresh and witty.

A bewildering exploitation flick that will probably end up with a dedicated cult following.

It is cheap, cheerful and so keen-to-please you want to adopt it as if it were an orphaned dog. It rolls out its tongue like a red carpet.

While Larry's film certainly sports a pulsing rhythm in some of its excellent musical numbers, it unfortunately exhibits a distracting amount of low budget hallmarks that weigh it down as a run-of-the-mill niche picture.

What Leave It on the Floor does best is provide a film for a niche market that celebrates that subculture.

An incredible film featuring queer representation that challenges the limits and comfort zones of its viewers, shedding light on the experiences of being transgender in the mid-2000s. In truth, it remains highly relevant to today's society, reflecting the setbacks we face amid the political upheaval instigated by right-wing factions. This film resonates with the sensitive generation.

Rough-edged but undeniably appealing original musical; director Sheldon Larry works wonders with a tiny budget.

So-so off off broadway type musical set in the microcosm of the vogue ball scene in LA. There's a couple of foot tapping numbers, but it looks really cheap and there are some shocking lip synchs. A poor man's Rent at best.
