An interesting movie at face value and face value only. The movie is entirely carried on the fact that it has an interesting plot and good cast, but is completely and utterly ruined by the abysmal writing. There is just blatantly no attempt from the crew to act on any self-preservation, and they are just idiotic for plot sake. Full of common and overused tropes, with zero rewatchability, let alone barely enough to make one watch worth while. The fact that this came from writers who wrote many other exceptional movies is astonishing and almost makes you feel like they didn't actually write it. This is a 1.5 hour movie that should have only lasted maybe 30 minutes as a short film. Writing like this would surely get any writing or film student kicked out of and black listed from any school. Possibly even sued (yes, this is an exaggeration).

Damn that was good. Simple story line, but sci-fi which is not stupid, everything kinda makes sense and is believable. I would watch part 2: Battle on Earh, then part 3: Vault, the last hope
