Shakia H @RT86841719 Jul 5, 2026 I never wrote a review ever but this is absolute must watch why the movie or cast never won any awards is just crazy this is one of those movies that's just a hidden gem See more Mitchelle K @RT24354479 Jun 28, 2026 I genuinely think that this movie is so good and a bit emotional which is a good thing because it makes you feel a bit of emotions! Good movie loved it! See more Kevin M @MarcoKevin May 20, 2026 Loved the movie. ROMCOM is one of my favorite genres, and this movie explained LOVE beautifully. The movie shows how people grow more when they truly fall in love. Sometimes people live life with just a smile, without really being happy inside. But when love enters life, it brings real happiness and gives a reason to live fully. No matter how hard the situation becomes, we just want to stay beside the person we love. The movie explained that feeling in a very emotional and beautiful way. See more M. R @RT15945498 Aug 17, 2025 Made me cry in ways more than one. See more Pedro Henrique C @Pedro2005 Jul 13, 2025 Life in a Year It has a very promising beginning, but as the story unfolds, the film becomes quite poorly written and tedious. The cast holds the story well, but the script didn't help at all. I wanted a more exciting ending, but it didn't happen. See more Han S @RT56179775 Jan 19, 2025 Life in a year is a pretty deep movie because it touches on topics like personal development, empathy, following your own path, but above all it teaches you to take advantage of life, you only have one and sometimes it has an expiration date; besides the story itself, what manages to convey this are the performances of the protagonists, both manage to connect with the public and the chemistry that is presented between them feels genuine, unlike other movies of the style, on the other hand the scenarios are excellently structured with a color palette that makes you feel sadness when you should feel sadness, hope when you should feel hope, etc; in addition to the fact that the music flows quite well with the characters, being used as a means to tell us what they think and what they feel when they are going through that situation. Although it is a plot, it is not limited to including humorous scenes, but this is a natural and effective humor that works as a moment to lower the tension of the story but, even so, it does not feel forced and does not cut the story. However, this film will not be enjoyable if you are not open to being sensitive about what you are seeing, because it uses the cliché of a young couple in love, and it is noticeable that it is written to generate a rather strong emotional impact and if you do not manage to go deeper, both in the relationship and in the situation they are living, you will not be able to fully enjoy it; on the other hand, narratively speaking, the film tells many stories that affect the characters and there are moments in which you notice that they lengthen or cut some of these a lot, for example the father's plot, it is left aside practically during the entire third act and at the end it is understood that it closed its arc, an arc that was not deepened. In conclusion, life in a year is a film that you have to be willing to open yourself to feel everything it wants to tell you with the implementation of the acting, the music (sung) and the settings to leave, as a whole, the message of taking advantage of life, because what you do in it depends entirely on you and it can end at any time.
