As Maya falls deeply in love, Aliyah's carefully constructed defenses begin to crumble, exposing the fault lines of their relationship. Will she find forgiveness and let go of the past, or will her demons tear them apart forever? As the truth finally surfaces, one painful truth remains: A mother's past becomes her daughter's present.
