While travelling alone, Elena finds herself on a ferry to an island. She meets Antonis, who is on his way to the island cemetery to bury an ossuary box. When his car breaks down, Elena offers him a ride. They're told the box can't be left at the cemetery for bureaucratic reasons. A bittersweet minimalist film that flows with nobility and humanism. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Petros T @PetrosTserpelis Aug 18, 2024 A pleasant if inessential character piece, "Magnitika pedia" benefits from the interesting photography, road trip vibes and unpretentious yet whimsical dialogues. On the other hand, the characterization is rather scarce and there's not much of an arc happening; as a result the emotional impact of the movie is arguably pretty limited. It's a lightweight, moderately engaging watch that eschews cliches but remains far from earth-shattering or intricate as far as its content goes. See more Read all reviews
