There's an intimacy to this film that's difficult to achieve and the fly-on-the-wall aesthetic Melrod creates effectively underscores the power of Dink's plight and ultimately, the poignancy that develops around it. Quiet, but memorable.

I'm surprisingly impressed with the feeling I'm left with after watching this. There's a calm and somewhat spiritual enlightenment to this film. This one hit a deep chord through symbolic messages and the realness presented a connection with reconciling the past while discovering self dignity. Well directed and kept me engaged. Clever and fitting title as well... I enjoyed looking up the real tarot card meanings after, gives you more to think about.

This movie grabbed me from the beginning and never let go. I reveled in its slow, sumptuous tempo and elegantly quiet pace. Talented cast, incredible music—-something almost sacred about this movie.

Don't waste your time watching this film. Kept waiting for it to make some sense, or even go somewhere, and it just didn't ever get there. If you want to get depressed, watch this film. It's a dog, it's 88 minutes of your life that you can never get back.
