Oct 16, 2017 Loved it. For anyone with an elderly parent or grandparent in their life, this is life. It's sad and often quiet reflective moments, and getting old isn't always pretty, sometimes families have to take over. Now that Jerry has left us, it's a fitting last movie. See more Sep 11, 2017 I hate this sappy, wrist-slit of a bore. A sad old man learns that his late, beloved wife was cheating on him, and he spends the movie getting sadder. Sure it's authentic, but to what end? What is the message here that serves any sort of meaningful purpose? An empty downer and a tonal mess...Jerry Lewis deserved so much better. See more Jan 29, 2017 Not a good film in the least. Had a LOT of potential and had a very strong third act, but the emotional weight is non-existent due to a crappy script, mediocre acting and poor direction with no clear vision. However that may have been the point of it all that that the reality of the survivor of a couple that has been together for 65 years that it should end this way. Some may say it was a hokey ending and it was from one point of view, but it is more real than some are comfortable with from another. It's all on how you look at it. See more Sep 3, 2016 My God, thank you for returning Jerry Lewis to us. ?? I was afraid he had given up on making new films. What an incredible actor, he spans generations. This is a deeply touching film about growing old and loving someone for a lifetime. I cried when the credits rolled, I don't ever want to let go of Jerry. His legacy is being The King of Comedy, but he's The King of Hearts too. Love you Jerry. ?? See more Sep 3, 2016 It's a little film with a simple plot, but I found Lewis dignified and and mesmerizing. I bet he'll win a few awards, or at least garner some nominations See more Read all reviews
