Rebecca O @SavageLettuce Feb 21 This movie is deeply terrible. So much promise; so utterly disappointing. Excellent, capable cast and the premise is very compelling. But the delivery was forced, stilted, and felt more like an undergraduate film instead of the work of seasoned professionals. The dialogue was choppy and unnatural. Monologues were indulgent and so self aware it read as insipid and cheesy. The genuine moments if connection were few and far between. The characters seemed one dimensional, under developed, and ridiculous…and not in the fun way. It was embarrassing to watch great actors floundering on screen with what was clearly an absolutely awful script and even worse direction. Moments of what should be quaint nervousness or awkwardness Woody Allen movies are known for seemed contrived and pantomiming. The whole thing seemed rushed and cringeworthy. In a word: bad. Lo único que puedo rescatar es algunos miembros del elenco y alguna que otra situación graciosa, pero el resto de la película es muy aleatorio y no tiene consistencia. Es todo una mezcla de situaciones al punto en que no se entiende que está sucediendo. Ni siquiera es graciosa, es bastante aburrida. No es una película romántica de esas cursis que al menos se puede disfrutar en pareja.
