Your enjoyment will be in direct proportion to how much you appreciate seemingly endless amounts of quality tango. Me, not so much.

Combined with key memories re-enacted through a group of dancers, the tango sequences are mesmerising and beautifully choreographed, bringing a stylised grace that is both unique and technical at the same time.

A highly enjoyable telling of the 60-year love/hate story of MarÃa Nieves Rego and Juan Carlos Copas, the most famous tango dancers in Argentina. It is illustrated / reconstructed through tangos which are thrillingly staged and beautifully shot and, instead of just talking heads, it makes interesting use of the dancers as interlocutors.
