Claudio C @Claudio666 1 hr ago The Rise and Fall of an Ambitious Woman (12,765 – 15 Oct 2026) The blondie Lily Krenshka is arrested when the police raids the joint where she is working in a small town. She has just arrived and the chief of the police let her go. The old photographer Max West promises to deliver the photo of Lily he took in front of the police station, and she goes to his studio. Lily asks him to teach his profession to her, and when she learns she decides to go to New York. Max suggests her change her professional name to Lila Crane. While looking for a job, she meets the reporter Russell Bassett, works at the prestigious Coco nightclub and columnist Roy Carver. Until her fall begins after an incident. "Over-Exposed" (1956) is an American drama with a dated story of the rise and fall of an ambitious woman. The plot shows how the American women were seen by the men in the 50’s. But the acting is good and the plot is acceptable in the 50´s. My vote is six. Title (Brazil): Not Available See more Martin B @RT44235356 Sep 28, 2026 Richard Crenna before he could act and Cleo Moore who never could but she was a blonde bombshell so who cares. They grind their way through the movie until the end when a fairly interesting plot element in a picture is wasted in an all too convenient and unlikely ending where certain major illegalities are ignored for the purpose of achieving the happy ending. See more nick s @Nick_S Nov 5, 2023 It had some charm, and Cleo was great. The story never really took off though. Also, what's wrong with the lead female chasing success? See more deke p @RT96675217 Aug 18, 2020 LOVE cleo moore & Richard Crenna. See more Aug 8, 2020 A paper-thin plot, but worthwhile for fans of Cleo Moore's cheesecake B-films of the 1950s. There's an attempt by the filmakers to create some depth to her character and she truly had some acting chops. Richard Crenna, on the other hand, was surprisingly cringe-inducing as her suitor.
