It may not be a memorable film, but throughout the bleak January morning of the Press pre-view I found myself wearing a happy grin. And that is considerable praise. Go to Full Review Jack Moffitt The Hollywood Reporter Oct 25, 2019
The most exciting thing about it is that, under the surprisingly sophisticated direction of Michael Gordon, Rock Hudson undergoes the metamorphosis from stock leading man to one of the best light comedians in the business. Go to Full Review Variety Staff Variety May 28, 2008
Pillow Talk is a sleekly sophisticated production that deals chiefly with s-e-x. Go to Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Aug 27, 2023

It’s impossible to imagine this movie not being presented in CinemaScope, as the widescreen format is integral in supporting the imaginative use of split-screen techniques. Go to Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Sep 22, 2022

The script is outrageously witty (or in hysterically bad taste) and endlessly romantic, even if the whole scenario is a cruel ruse that must eventually come crashing down. Go to Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Jul 9, 2021

Tracy McD Feb 6, 2023 We had the time of our lives watching Pillow Talk today. I didn't expect to love it as much as I did, since I've seen it on TV before. We laughed out loud throughout the film, as did others in the theatre It's the first time I can recall going into the ladies restroom and seeing other women chatting merrily about a film. We were all smiles and giddy. Thank you for bringing these classic films back to the big screen. This is great entertainment. See more bruce F @bruce999 Aug 14, 2026 over-rated. the movie is fun, but lacks real emotion See more John S @RT40486670 Dec 15, 2025 It's got some really appalling elements, but once you apply your "product of its time" goggles, it's irresistibly funny and well done. Doris Day and Rock Hudson have incredible chemistry. See more Frederick B @Frederick212 Jul 27, 2025 Sexually repressed woman is deceived by a nymphomaniac who is trying to get her into bed. Sweet and romantic. See more thiago s @Thiagostone Jul 21, 2025 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more CodyZamboni @CodyZamboni May 9, 2023 Movie is amusing rom-com fun. I was surprised that this was a quasi musical, and I was semi shocked by the amount overt sexual innuendo, given the year of release, 1959. Doris Day is so charming, and I liked the clever use of split screen, and the bright color schemes See more Read all reviews
