I liked the way in which the teens find ever-more elaborate pretexts to take themselves off, alone, into the darkness to investigate this or that.

Dark, Twisted, But Wildly Basic Don't View This As A Remake Of The 1980 Film, And It Stands A Lot Better, But It's By No Means Pleasant. The Idea That This Teacher Didn't Get The Needle Is Far Fetched And Even Worse When You Think That Jury Is Now Responsible For An Even Worse Massacre. The Kills Are Just Stabbing & Grunting, Not Much Tension. It's Just Teen Drama And Then The Main Girl Loses Mostly Everyone. Fun Fact: I Recieved An Invite To An Early Screening Of This When I Was I. High School, But Had To Miss It For An Appointment That Changed My Life Forever. C+ 5.5-6.5/10 It's "Harmless", But You're Life Won't Chsnge Whether Or Not You See It I Didn't Hate It When I Saw It, But Now I Don't Know How I'd Feel.

its horrible its not interesting it gets rid of the murder mystery its just some guy that looks like Toby Mgurire killing everyone it just plays off like a simple slasher with no interesting tropes

Well it may be different from the Prom Night 1980 but this one I like it I can’t say is the best slasher films ever but also I love slasher film and this one is one of my favorite, This one hits the psychological thriller slasher films of all time. I would watch it 100 times and not get over it.

Such a bad, generic, not even scary horror remake. Prom Night is a bloody bore that’s a mashup of cliche’s that ended up being a trick rather than a treat. Grading: F
