Following the brutal murder of her husband, a Kansas highway patrol officer (Georgina Campbell) sets out on a journey to track down the perpetrator. Entire swaths of the movie appear to have been excised in a bid to make this a much dumber and more conventional horror movie, one where the viewers know less about many of the Satanic Slasher’s victims than the hapless teens in a Friday the 13th movie.

The moronic slasher flick Psycho Killer is a cinematic trash dump of plot holes and huge unanswered questions, in this unimaginative story about a highway patrol officer hunting down the serial killer who murdered her husband.

This movie had sooo much potential but the sequencing really throws one off. The way scenes were cut were so strange that it takes away from it seeming realistic. So many “really?!” moments water down a lot of the thrills. With that said, it’s not a horrible movie like critics are saying it is.

This was a pretty bad movie. started out promising, but ultimately turned into an unfocused mess. hard to believe the guy who wrote Se7en, which was such a smart thriller, wrote this. there were probably only 2 good sequences in this movie. the opening sequence and a later sequence in a hotel room.

Competently made, but generic and forgettable. Campbell is fine, the villain belongs in a Mad Max movie. Research on Satanism appears to have been done on Wikipedia.
