We both agreed that the acting was overall poor and we didn’t really care about the characters. Back to football…. See more Suzanne V @SIOUXSPUR Oct 2, 2026 Nadine, (Mishael Morgan) daughter of the boat shop owner, and Ethan (Corey Sevier), a pumpkin farmer, team up to heal the feud between their fathers and revive the town's Pumpkin Regatta and raise money for a college scholarship. I really dont care about the fake pumpkins, fake leaves and other decorations, those things aren't that important to me. The things that I feel are most important are the script, casting, acting, and chemistry of the leads. I like Corey he's one of my favorites and I liked Mishael Morgan too, I thought they had good chemistry. However, I felt the storyline about the Pumpkin Regatta was just a bit drawn out and a little too slow paced like it would fit into a 30 minute TV show. I know Corey's wife, Kate Pragnell, wrote the script. I've enjoyed her other Hallmark movies--- However, this movie just didn't do it for me. Maybe it was the Romeo & Juliet type trope. Corey taking off his shirt was nice 😉 Too me it was just an ok movie. It just lacked something. See more Read all reviews
