See more Brighton N @RT09904023 May 29, 2026 Rākāsā is superficially entertaining enough, but it's simply a bad movie. A high-tier, upper-echelon, guilty-pleasure bad movie, but still a bad movie. The actors do their best, but the higgledy-piggledy plot is mind-bogglingly contrived, bedraggled, and discombobulated, sans the horror or comedy advertised. This feels like it's trying to be the Tollywood answer to Anaconda, in a demonic font—if you like the cinematic KFC that is that film, but want a little bit of biriyani to put that chicken in, this is the terrible movie-mess you're looking for. Poor story line up. Not even kids movie. Wonder how director convinced the Producer. And to my shock it made it monies. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Dont waste ur time. U better news or any movie h watched all ready. Wud like to ask Hero which part of the movie convinced him. See more Harish N. @harish_napa May 3, 2026 The 2026 Telugu film is a mediocre experience that blends rural folklore with a supernatural thriller. It is a visually consistent production focusing on an ancient curse and a mysterious fort, proving that while the premise is a spectacular start, the lack of narrative depth makes it feel unpolished. Sangeeth Shobhan is spectacular as the timid Veerababu, and his comic timing with Getup Srinu is a high quality highlight. Nayan Sarika provides a grounded presence, though the writing often relies on familiar tropes. The highlight is the eerie ritual at the fort and Anudeep Dev’s spectacular score. It is a solid one time watch that highlights the potential of the genre but struggles to deliver a high quality and lasting impact. See more Stephen C @bob25009 Apr 3, 2026 Funny in 2 1/6 hours.
