Salmokji isn't doing anything new with the "trapped in one place" genre of ghost stories. Even so, it's a well-made bit of commercial horror that keeps you on your toes and, most likely, scratching your head. Go to Full Review

Salmokji: Whispering Water uses some typical jump scares in this horror movie about a ghost that haunts a reservoir. However, the movie has good acting performances and gripping suspense in this story about a road-view crew trying to solve the mystery. Go to Full Review

Catherine 2d Very enjoyable. The storyline was simple. The camera angles and atmosphere were factors that made it extremely creepy. See more brian 3d The ending of the movie felt so empty and unsatisfying, and I couldn’t really understand what it was trying to convey. See more Saech H. @tocksghd 8h Salmokji is about a film crew who goes into a remote area where countless ghost appearances have been reported. The crew all encounter the supernatural phenomena and attempts to survive from the horrific experiences. 1st thing that was well done were the group of actors and actresses that were casted in this movie. They all did phenomenal and you could really feel the fear and anxiety they must’ve felt during the shooting of the movie, and even what the characters felt in the movie. 2nd thing that was done well were the jump scares. Even though you could anticipate them, the movie still gets you. Some things I did find kind of disappointing was that the story, as cliche and similar to many horror films, it lacked couple essence that really gets you to understand the movie. Also, the ending was quite unsatisfactory. See more nir V @nir_vana 3d honestly a good korean horror movie. story is linear, delivers what it needs to and doesnt take any unnecessary detour. time passed by so fast and i was left hoping for more instead of begging it to be over, great indicator that i really enjoyed it. i do wish there was more background for the old lady and what happen to her daughter or shown us what happened to suin at the beginning of going to the reservoir that made her scared of water. what stood out to me was the whole cast’s great performances anchored by kim hyeyoon who always brilliantly delivers everytime i see her in anything. See more Cindy 4d This is such a great and chilling movie with genuine unforeseen jump scares. One of the best horror movies to come out in a long time! This movie screams talent from the director to the actors. I’d like to go ghost hunting, but I hope I never encounter a whispering water ghost 😰 See more m0m&son temlor A @RT57803201 4d Worth to wait...so scary I'm trembling to the bone See more Read all reviews
