Oct 25, 2013 A beautiful look at the hidden cost of paradise. This surreal story has a different edge and gives the actors a light hearted look at the myths and legends of Greek philosophy. Nibbles: Pineapple and cheese. See more Sep 12, 2013 Esperaba menos y me lleve una grata sorpresa con una historia entretenida, buena fotografia. No es un peliculon pero mejor que muchas. Like Water for Chocolate. As flawed as the plot of LWFC may have been, the acting and the cinematography overwhelmed the flaws until they were trivial, leaving the viewer with a dreamy movie that enveloped you with a beautiful legend. Sea of Dreams already has the beautiful legend. There once was a girl that the sea loved so much, it was jealous of anyone who loved her, and would kill him if he tried to go too far. That's a great premise. Yet as promising as the story is, it fails on all the regards that made LWFC great. That said, it is not a horrible movie, and not a bad movie by any stretch. SOD is a failed good movie, one that could have been much, much more.
