Aster M @RT83808332 1d do you enjoy watching women being needlessly sexualized while they’re emotionally tortured? then this is the movie for you. Shortwave is a stupid movie for stupid people, essentially about the horrors women go through because some f*ckboy wanted to see what would happen. it spends far too much time creating an atmosphere, while remaining virtually plotless until the last 15 minutes - and by then you just want it to be over already. i’ve never felt compelled to write a movie review until i watched this trash, but i need everyone to know how much i hate this movie and the people who created it. Terrible acting, no plot until 3/4 into the movie. They obviously got all 500 people they know to give it a high rating. When seeing a 96% audience score in the future, will be sure to see how many people actually gave it that. 500 people won't work. What a disgrace! I just discovered you can do half stars. Awesome. But, as the plot unfolds, not only is the other world her hubby and partner tapping into evil - but so are so they. What never makes sense is the actual shortwave radio that's never plugged in. This having a 97% review score is... wrong... and then it morphed into a total horror shit show in the second half. While the horror aspect in the second half was an improvement over the first half horror aspect, it never defined what type of horror it was until the very end. An ending that offered very little resolution to what was driving the entire movie. I might want to watch this again to see if it's as bad as I thought. See more Read all reviews
