As ambitious District Attorney Ford Cole (Ray Liotta) prepares for his mayoral bid, he faces conflicting stories surrounding a man's death. His assistant DA and sometime lover, Nora Timmer (Jolene Blalock), claims that the man tried to rape her. However, witness Luther Pinks (LL Cool J) tells a different tale. SOMDVD See more don s @RT97868663 Oct 5, 2014 This mystery takes its title too seriously, especially the slow part. The first 2/3 of the movie moves at a glacial pace. By the time it kick starts in the final 1/3, you really don't much care how it ends. There are so many turns fit into that last few scenes it nearly makes your head spin.
