However, a disclaimer - this does NOT follow the Stephen King massive Dark Tower series. The story here is encapsulated in one brief film. The action is good, and McCaughey chews up the scenery. The ending gun battle is worth the time of viewing. Again, though, do not go into this thinking it will be the beginning of the 'Dark Tower' saga. Though I will say I think Matthew McConaughey as the villain carries the film a good bit. It could have been better, but it still could have been a lot worse.
