The entertainment value is about the same as before, failing to change up the formula to a worthwhile degree – even if the finale (disappointingly doused in CG blood effects and largely repetitive) is appropriately action-packed and bloodthirsty. I don't remember this. Anyway, it's on Tubi now. I enjoyed it. I actually think this is what a real Purge would look like-- people trying to steal money and party in the streets, maybe a few pranks. I don't think most people want to go on killing sprees. But it makes sense that certain people would want to see this happen to poor people. They're on the internet now saying they want certain people to go extinct. Just evil. These people would be outnumbered by the sane masses, though... for now. This is what I would expect from a Purge movie, though. This series tends to do racial divisions, so it's par for the course. Not a bad movie night on the sofa. See more Read all reviews
