While racing toward the town of Red Rock in post-Civil War Wyoming, bounty hunter John "The Hangman" Ruth (Kurt Russell) and his fugitive prisoner (Jennifer Jason Leigh) encounter another bounty hunter (Samuel L. Jackson) and a man who claims to be a sheriff. Hoping to find shelter from a blizzard, the group travels to a stagecoach stopover located on a mountain pass. Greeted there by four strangers, the eight travelers soon learn that they may not make it to their destination after all.

While it's not his best film (it's far too long and indulgent at times), Tarantino absorbs the audience into a scene, compelling you to look at each and every inch of it--indicative of many vintage films (his usual film playground).

When looking at Tarantino's filmography, The Hateful Eight doesn't hold a candle to works like 'Pulp Fiction' or 'Kill Bill,' but it's an entertaining film nonetheless — if you don't mind the runtime.

I love the art of Tarantino movies, lot's of blood, incredible good acting, great music... however I have to admit that the Hateful Eight might really be too long, the movie is beeing dragged and the final didn't had this typical wow wtf effect. Still not a bad movie and worthy to watch
