J H @UpstateNYThriller Jul 22, 2026 3/10 Bad movie. Girls get stalked after going on hike alone Creepy guys, bad femme type movie. More drama then suspense See more justin t @RT08580778 Feb 15, 2022 It looked great. The dubbing was ropey at the start although I loved the music.  Well-paced but there wasn't much connection with the girls. The main girl was very forgettable. Some scenes were totally unforgettable, like the twist and how nasty one of the guys gets. The film was similar to Eden Lake (2008). I was entertained, especially at some key moments but felt it could have gone further and deeper. See more May 9, 2020 absolute dumpster fire with some of the dumbest character decisions like i know crazy is walking at u with an ax and you got a gun lets instead fight him vs shoot him, or I'm being chased and there's an idling car with the door open I know lets just choose to run on foot DO NOT WATCH See more Jun 3, 2016 I Spit on Your Grave by way of Eden Lake, but not as focused... Or as good. You can guess where pretty much everything is going after about ten minutes, but at least it tries. See more Feb 13, 2014 A kind of cross between rape-revenge films and Eden Lake, The Hike is a British horror film that follows a group of young women who go camping in the woods and run into a nasty group of men. If you've seen Eden Lake or countless other films, then you will see every move in The Hike coming and will be less than disturbed by its content. Overall, The Hike is a film that wants to be brutal and harrowing but just lacks the teeth to get the job done. See more Feb 4, 2013 A decent enough low budget British film. Reminded me in parts of Eden Lake and the Descent. It has quite a quick, and brutal, change of direction half way through. Worth checking out. See more Read all reviews
