Craig T @CraigTB Oct 7, 2026 A Folk Horror curiosity that heavily reminded me of Adrian Lyne’s 1990 "Jacob’s Ladder". Like that movie, you’re never exactly sure where it’s going and not 100% where it ends. It’s obviously not near the same level of firm making of JL, but, it’s not made in cell phone either, and the atmospherics were top tier. I especially enjoyed the character of "The Boatman". But, if you like me the subject matter of a movie like Jacob’s latter and Folk Horror and Dante’s Inferno, I don’t think you feel like you wasted your time with this movie. There certainly much worse.
